Christmas Caption Contest!

"Christmas Eve Update"  Contest Winner:  Thanks to all four of you for playing--- you took a shot with a 1 in 4 chance of winning (that's way better than PowerBall!) More than anything, I hope you got a chuckle out of the picture.

I laughed at all your comments-- and decided that all four were worthy of my wife's famous seasoned crackers.  Just send me an email with your right address and they're on the way. Merry Christmas!

Last week as I was driving home from church, I passed a house with an out of the ordinary Christmas display in the front yard. Surely, it was the most unique nativity scene I have ever seen before. Yes, only in Pennsylvania. As I laughed out loud, I knew I had to get a snapshot for the blog.

Just for fun, I invite you to write a "Caption" for this picture, and in light of the Christmas holiday the best caption will receive a jar of my wife's famous 'seasoned crackers'! Leave your caption in the comment area below and I'll announce the winner by Christmas Eve.

1.) "No room at the Inn, but Satellite TV in the Manger"

2.) "Mary and Joseph opted for the motel that had 'satellite in manger' on its sign over the other motel which had the more ubiquitous 'phone in room' sign."

heh. Bill and I always laugh at those "phone in room" and "color TV" hotels.

1. Unable to get "24" on local television, Mary and Joseph invest some Magi gold in a satellite dish.

2. Mary and Joseph appreciated the Star's role in guiding the magi; its effect on reception was less of a blessing.
