An interesting story is late-breaking about some Baptist church members from Idaho who are currently under arrest in Haiti, accused by the Haitian government of "child-trafficking"--- taking children outside the country without permission. These Christians were in Haiti helping with the relief efforts-- particularly with children.
If you want to read about this ongoing saga---- MSNBC has the latest breaking news of the ten believers' ordeal, as well as the Southern Baptist Convention which is keeping tabs on the situation. Eight of the Christians are connected with two Southern Baptist Churches in Idaho.
I have trouble believing that these Christians were truly "child trafficking" as they are being accused of. With all the mass chaos and confusion happening in this earthquake-stricken country, it sounds like a serious over-reaction based on miscommunication.
Take a moment and pray today for these Christians who are at the mercy of the Haitian government. Ask God to assure that justice is done in this delicate situation. Take a look at that picture and remember----those women are much-loved wives, mothers, and daughters whose families want them to come come.

Insanity... these people were not kidnapping children. They really screwed up that is for sure, but it is a mess down there. You can be sure really child traffickers would know who to bribe! Just send the people home. It is stupidity.
I understand prisons had collapsed there and convicted murderers are not even being looked for, but Christians helping children?...those people we have to incarcerate!! Lunacy!!
